Quite simply the best bike shop around! Completely authentic, knowledgable, friendly and bent over backwards to help me - a female rider of a certain age, coming back to MTBing after a rather long spell out. Bought my new bike from Mountain Trax after extensive testing on their great demo scheme. Always happy with the level of support I get from these guys and if they can't fix your bike before your ride they will lend you one of their demo fleet so you can still get out.
I have shopped at Mountain Trax for at least 7 years now. The service has always been fantastic from Chris and the team. I have never felt pressured into buying anything. Their knowledge is unrivalled, and I wouldnt hesitate in recommending them to anyone. The brands of bike they stock are excellent. And the demo scheme is great, as being able to try a range of bikes to work out what is best for you is invaluable.
Visited many cycle shops in the area yesterday. Without doubt this is the best stocked and has the greatest choice of bikes and accessories. However, customer care is appalling. As a new customer my money was taken without even a thank you. Wont be back as I might of well shopped on line.
Chris & team know their stuff. Not once did i feel pushed into any sales but the reassurance that i was making a perfect decision. I would recommend Mountain Trax over most LBS's. Great work Chris and his team! Will definitely be back in the near future!
