I live in London but I save my dry cleaning for when I visit my parents because I do not trust ANYWHERE else. Stains that other places have not been able to get out, Country Dry Cleaners have -- and for a reasonable price, too. Yesterday, I called about a white swimsuit that was totally ruined by sunscreen and not only were they honest about dry cleaning being the worst thing for it, they took the time to talk me through a hand--washing process with specific products and measurements. Excellent service by friendly staff at very reasonable prices. Just the place to take your dry cleaning to, they offer an alterations and repairs service as well. The cobbler side of the shop will look after your shoe repairs, engraving, leather stitching, battery changing requirements. I have been a customer since 1986 and recommend them without any reservations. It really is a joy to go there, I even pop in just for the banter when in town. Give them a try!
