Amazing Sunday Roast. Great value for money. We didnt expect anything like that in Wokingham but Miltons is a true gem. Excellent quality of food and nice barn atmosphere. Very busy on Sunday though which is not surprising. Beef was simply delicious.
We had a group meal so that always slows the service down. I expected a little better if I'm honest, not even a linen table cloth in what claims to be fine dining establishment. The food was tasty but our mains were a little cold.
Really poor afternoon tea.Soggy Sandwiches under filled, cheap cakes, old crockery and mismatched cutlery - not something you'd expect for 20+

Lovely setting, not within Cantley House itself, but right next to it. Converted from an old stable the restaurant has lovely original features like the steel stable separators and wooden beams. Had an afternoon tea with free glass of pimms. Food was lovely although our Eton mess had gone off. When we asked for new ones we had an apology from the chef and discounted bill for the soured cream. Very enjoyable experience, reasonably priced, but still pricey at 20 per head for afternoon tea.
