HUGELY DISAPPOINTED.I have booked a table for to meet with some family and friends on a Tuesday evening for a drink and to talk about my new business adventure (which btw is selling hair care products). And they thought it was an event or something dodgy somehow when they saw I create on FB to invite my friends with their location and when we showed up (we were only 5 people), they didn't want us to stay there. The place was TOTALLY EMPTY. No wonder why...with such a poor management.We would have purchased drinks and nibbles like normal people do when they want to have a nice time with their friends, and they said we couldn't stay. What the?!I am not saying don't go there because I went there in summer and it's a lovely place to have a drink. And I don't normally write bad reviews either because I am always very supportive. But for this last experience I must say it has been HUGELY disappointing. Knowing that this place IS NOT supporting small local businesses and they have PRE-JUDGED us. Shame on you. Hence why my 1 star.We went to the Ship Inn just around the corner without any booking and we had a great time there so our evening was awesome at the end :)
Lovely wines and cheese board with nice attentive service.
Lovely wine bar with very friendly and close knit staff with a delicious and tempting menu of wine and bar snacks.A little on the expensive side but definitely somewhere to go for a treat or to impress if they like wine.
Cozy bar but book a table for the evening if there are more then 2 of you.
Really good atmosphere and great drinks. I used to hate gin, now I love it thanks to their interesting way of making a G&T with slices of passion fruit and peppercorns. Definitely a good place for a good drink. Pricey but worth it.
