Never had a bad meal here and there is always enough staff. The meal deals and specials are great value and when washed down with a nice real ale make a good evening out. Nice venue. Nothing to complain about.
It's a nice pub, it does get fairly busy sometimes, but does serve quality food and drinks. The staff are friendly, I do recommend it. The Sunday roasts are not great though, other than that it is nice.
Excellent food . Good venue and waitress was very friendly and polite. My fish meal was lovely and nice to find a restaurant serving more fish choices than just fish and chips or scampi and chips.
Warm, snug and cosy seating with open fire. Game pie was rustic and tasty. Chips were the absolute best I'd tasted for quite a time. Fillet steak cooked just as ordered and melted in your mouth as it should. Topped with great service - unbeatable.
Nice lunch today. Very busy but still served in good time. Attentive service and reasonable price.
