It was nice food...but... There were 4 guys working in the shop but they still took 32 minutes to prepare a simple haddock and chips! Even cooking every order fresh, there are plenty of places that turn out equally good fish and chips in less than half that time. Lots of reviews say this is the best chip shop in Wokingham... So maybe venture outside the town, you'll probably still be back home with your fish supper in less time.If, on the other hand, time is not an issue for you, then it is good grub!
The food is fresh and tasty. My favourite are the kebabs. Customer service is very good. The place looks clean and tidy.

The best fish & chips for miles, it's not my closest but well worth the extra time. I normally have cod which is a truly quality piece of meaty fish fillet lightly covered in a tasty batter, the chips are always hot, fresh & plentiful. Every fish portion is served in a box with a slice of lemon.
Ordered a large amount in the shop - well worth the wait. Chips had a crispy edge that few other places manage to achieve. Fish batter was excellent and the fish was really tasty. Little touches like the wedge of lemon and a sprig of parsley add to the experience. Definitely our go-to place.
