Lovely walks around the park. The lake was frozen over and was so beautiful in the snow.
A lovely wooded area with a lake in the middle with lots of wildlife on it. Good children's facilities and I'm told the cafe there sells an excellent breakfast. they have constructed a walkway all the way around the lake so it's easy to walk round it. We would go here more often, especially with friends who have children, but you have to pay for parking, so we often find somewhere else to go with free parking. When we first moved into the area the parking was free.
Really nice walk and playground. The walk round the lake is fine for pushchairs. The cafe looks a bit beaten up from the outside but has obviously been refurbished in side so is very nice and spacious.
Lovely place to come out in any type of weather. Came here whilst visiting and brought the kids along. They loved the walk and the bridge walk. The adventure playground is a lot of fun for all ages too. If you have time visit the cafe
Great. No entry fee but parking 1.50 per Hr. Good cafe with good food though service was not very quick. Nice for dogs and kids. Two playgrounds, one for under fives and one for the slightly older children. We did not try the paddling pool but that looks fun for a hot day. 2.50 to go in the water.
