The store manager Dan managed to organise a great deal for storage for me. As it was all so last minute I wasn't expecting any kind of deal however I am very grateful for the support and help he has provided me and my family on such short notice!! Thanks again!!

Was really thrilled to find storage so close to our new house to store our items until completion. However....We signed up online, and went to the branch to look at the storage unit to make sure it was big enough, this is when the trouble started.Our unit was around about 9 a week. Id arranged home contents cover (included in my policy) for my items in storage. This wasnt accepted, since it wasnt word for word for what Ready Steady Store wanted. My Certificate of Insurance said, Home Contents whilst in a professional storage unit - All Risk - which to me states if ANYTHING happens, it is covered. An additional weekly amount was required for insurance. Our email confirmation stated 24/7 access to our belongings with a key code. Actually, without paying an additional fee of 2 per week, it means 0900 - 1730 Monday to Saturday!This is really is the Ryanair of storage - every single thing that would be included at other storage units as standard was an additional charge.We were currently at 76 per month and other items were being added, so I left - promptly.Shurgard - first month 1 for a bigger unit, then they said theyd change our unit to be a smaller one if we were going to go over the month. Very professional.Awful customer service too, the lady dealing with us stated I only work here - no Dear - you represent your company. She looked shocked that I had the audacity to choose not to give the company my business.I cant recommend Ready Steady Store in the slightest Im afraid.Happy Storing!
