Hotel good. Gym/spa facilities very poor. Sauna not usable, cold air conditioning...very cold, jacuzzi only works on one part, water machine. Warm water!! Pool ok!! ..but under age children allowed to use jacuzzi, sauna(when open), steam room. Sometimes , lack of towels!! If looking for a Spa weekend, DON'T use St Anne's Manor!! Staff excellent, but stressed, by lack of maintenance!!!
Really enjoyed our stay. Family of 4 stayed in 1 room with 2 king beds. Comfortable and clean. Bathroom needs updating, but it was nevertheless clean. Swimming pool was warm, and steam room was a great place to stew!Nice cared for grounds. Lots of parking. Great breakfast...the usual Hilton breakfast. Would definitely visit again.
Meal portions were very small. 2 roast potatoes is a child's portion in my eyes. Wine on tables were cheap an nasty. Long gaps between courses. Sat waiting for coffee an mince pies. No-one was informed it was all outside and you had to help yourself. Staff good, an attentive, DJ an music good, but very loud, you had to shout an then not be heard. Not worth the price
My disabled husband and I attended the Blind Veterans lunch on Friday 7th.Due to a conference running over time, there were no parking spaces.I attempted to park on a grass area where there were other cars.We got stuck in the mud as it had been raining heavily.I went for help and the hotel staff were amazing. They helped my husband into his wheelchair, took us to the event, and said they'd get maintenance to tow the car out. They did this while we attended the lunch, and when we were ready to leave, they'd parked the car right by the main door with the keys ready at reception.What could have been a total nightmare was completely sorted very pleasantly and we had a very enjoyable day. I'd recommend this hotel as the staff were so professional and caring.
Had a grate time at the spa. I went with my mum and the lady that did my treatments was so lovely. However have to take a points off because I had booked the experience for my mum and she did mot have a good time at all. The lady that did her treatments was not attentive at all my mum felt she didn't listen to her about any of her requirements.
